About KTCA

Where Real Country Music Still Has a Home

Founded in summer of 2021 by Rusty Hoyle, Keep Traditional Country Alive exists for one simple reason: traditional country music (the kind with steel guitars, honest lyrics, and stories that matter) deserves to be heard, celebrated, and passed on to the next generation.

In an era when mainstream country has lost its way, we're here to remind folks what real country music sounds like. From Hank Williams (Sr. and Jr.) to George Jones, Loretta Lynn to Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin to Keith Whitley, and the independent artists carrying that torch today.... this is where their music lives on.

What We're About

We dig deep into the artists, songs, and stories that built country music. We also do Photography and Videography to help capture and preserve what matters We shine a light on today's independent musicians who refuse to compromise. We celebrate the honky-tonks, the songwriters, and the radio stations still playing the real deal. And we stand against the watering-down of a genre that once spoke truth to everyday people.

This isn't nostalgia. It's preservation. It's resistance. It's keeping the flame burning.
